Two very worthwhile videos. This first one, it’s the beginning of glory. Dear World, the USA is coming. Not yet. But this movement is real. And it is glorious. Remember the USA USA USA chant, it will be coming to a round of 16, then a quarterfinal, a semi, and finally a final at a World Cup near you.
Category: Where we will be
Wow. If you are in the Bay Area you have to get there for a game. Just amazing, the place was full at 10:30 AM and was standing room only for more then three hours. http://sfworldcup2010.com/ for the details. I took some pics from today, would post a game review but way too tired and need to pack more. A brilliant recovery by team USA. They showed up inĀ a major way which was huge.
More pics after the jump…
It’s official. Rumor had it that team Constantly Offside was being lured to watching the US England at multiple different
locations, but as of tonight we locked it up. I got to sit down tonight with Aaron, the brains behind setting up a bar just specifically for the World Cup and let me tell you, this dude is class. He is doing this so people have a great spot to watch games that is close to downtown, the financial district and the mission. The setup is going to be killer. I saw the spot tonight and it is glorious. TV’s in all the right places. Alcohol everywhere. Enough room for a lot of people. Def gonna be a great spot to watch games all throughout the World Cup. Not to mention their amazing drink specials and deals. Every game. Every day. Every time team CO is in the US you can find us there for games. We are working on creating a drink (check out the podcast for details on that terrible idea) and hopefully some other solid hookup specials. If you are in the Bay Area, especially San Francisco, this is going to be the place to be to catch every game. We will just take a quick look at one of the specials, that is a drink for showing up with your team’s jersey on for the game. Amazing.
Just some features that immediately impressed me today:
Less then 20 minutes from the Financial District via public transportation. 5ish blocks from the Van Ness Muni Station. Wifi. Located on the corner of 12th and Folsom, 1582 Folsom to be exact. Super friendly staff and epic spot to catch a game. It’s gonna be crackalackin for sure.

We will be there. You better.
