Robinho and Santos News

After an unimpressive stint at Man City, Robinho is back in Santos, the club he grew up playing with and the only club Pelé ever played for (excluding the NY Cosmos). According to the Brazilian newspaper Folha de São Paulo, "Robinho is back to being Robinho." I totally agree. Watching the highlights from the game you can tell that he is genuinely happy again and having fun, something rarely seen when he was at Man City. For entertaining players like Robinho and Denilson (not the Arsenal one but the WC98 one) one of the greatest attributes as players is fearlessness and happiness. When these skilled Brazilian players aren't happy playing they become insignificant as seen in both Robinho's and Denilson's stints at Man City and Real Betis respectively.
Robinho is really back and you can expect him to be doin' work in South Africa. Check out his Gol de Letra (a flick from behind his leg).
Also Check out Neymar's penalty for Santos' first goal. This kid is sick!!! and he's only 17 and he's taking old Rogerio Ceni back to school. Chamo can comment on the validity of the goal (stop of foreward movement or not, or whether the official stance is if the player backs up after passing the ball without the ball moving) but the goal stood.
Anyways,
Check out these the two best goals Neymar scored in the past month.
First taking on 3 defenders here.
From a Brasileirão game in November...one of the sickest and simplest fakes when 1v1 with the keeper.
So with the partnership of Robinho and Neymar uptop, It's definitely worth taking the time to check out Santos' highlights on footytube.
