EPL Round 15 Predictions

Posted by Biggy and Chamo on December 4, 2009  •  Comments

Though the biggest news comes from the International stage on this day, we must never fail to provide our predictions. Biggy slumped again, and Chamo didn't fare much better, but still maintains his spot top of the table (is it really a table if there are only two competing?). Get your predicts in!

Biggy:

Another week, another lackluster performance. I need to stick to it to Chamo like I do on FIFA, although this requires considerably less skill, as shown by both Chamo and Brett, who know little to nothing about anything in general. And yet they are still beating me. I might be smiling on the outside, but I'm crying on the inside.

Portsmouth 0:1 Burnley  As Akon says and it is a known key to success, "I'm So Paid". Unfortunately, Pompey's players are the exact opposite, and another issue with wages distract them enough at home to watch Burnley step closer to being so paid next year, if they can stay up in the EPL.

Arsenal 2:0 Stoke City  RVP's injury has hurt what was an impending title run from the Gunners. Chamo thinks it's funny, I disagree, as it is annoying to see both of my favorite teams (the Gunners and the US Nats) at less then full strength because you can't really see what they are capable of. You can see that they are still capable of smacking around Stoke though.

Aston Villa 2:1 Hull City  A spirited Hull City side that is making a revival runs straight into a fiesty Villa side that needs to start dropping the hammer on teams in the league as they have been faltering at times. Their Champions League aspirations ride on such matches, and they put a good foot forward here, albeit a sketchy good foot.

Blackburn 1:2 Liverpool
The Reds look to build on last week by beating another faltering side. If Torres is back, they win, if not, they will draw at best.

West Ham 2:2 Man United
After losing Carlton Cole indefinitely, the Hammers look for more offensive sources and find them in Franco. United steals a goal at the death to keep that awfully talented Ham side down.

Wigan 1:0 Birmingham
Literally anything could happen with this Wigan side. A win is what I think, but what do I know.

Wolves 2:0 Bolton
Time to Wander into some more points, the Wolverines are gonna challenge to get out of the drop zone.

Man City 3:1 Chelsea
Oh team invincible, you have another thing coming when you go to CITAYYYYY. A surprise loss won't let Chelsea run away quite yet.

Fulham 2:2 Sunderland
Fulham should win at home, Sunderland should win because they are good, so neither will happen. Dempsey stays red hot, and hopefully Bent bags two since I just replaced the injured Cole with him.

Everton 1:2 Tottenham  Poor Tim Howard, the man can't buy help. Being the best goalie in the EPL is for naught when your defense includes two broomsticks and a mop filling in for injured stars.

Chamo:

Portsmouth 1:0 Burnley Portsmouth aren't getting paid, but they are at home, against a team that struggles away from the Turf Moor.  A bore victory for the viewer, huge for Pompey though.

Arsenal 1:0 Stoke City Sorensen is beyond human at this point, but can't cope with the backlash of a disappointed Arsenal squad who has conceded 6 without reply. Arshavin finds net.

Aston Villa 3:0 Hull City Whatever has gotten into Hull these past weeks will end. Mainly because they are so poor that seeing them get results makes me physically sick. I have a cold due to Hull City. Damn Tigers.

Blackburn 1:1 Liverpool
Blackburn impressed at home, even if it was against a weakend Chelsea squad. That performance added with the inclusion of Franco di Santo leads Rovers to a well earned draw.

West Ham 2:1 Man United
I'm out on a limb here, Biggy choosing a draw gives me an easy chance at a point, so I'll take the risk.

Wigan 0:1 Birmingham
Birmingham are on a tear. Wigan are just beyond strange at this point. My Preimer League signing of the season for fantasy might be Lee Bowyer.

Wolves 1:0 Bolton
I want Wolves to succeed, but they just don't impress me. Luckily for them, neither do Bolton.

Man City 1:2 Chelsea
Biggy is dreaming if he thinks this lackluster City squad can score 3 against the impenitrible wall that is the Chelsea back four. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and conceed one.

Fulham 1:2 Sunderland
I will admit. I have NO IDEA how this is going to end. Sunderland should win, but they are AWFUL on the road. Time for that poor showing to end?

Everton 0:3 Tottenham  Everton have issues, and nothing can save them now. Tottenham walk all over the Toffees even though they are away, and Moyes finally looks to the Reserves for help. Hello Anton Peterlin!
